Kimber Golf Scheme DesignMethodology

'Flesh on the Bones' - Adding strategy and detail

This stage involves creating concept visuals, the sketch book and masterplan is developed. Presented with an artistic style the sketchbook will have enough information for initial budgets to be compiled.

The Concept Visuals will give an impression of the overall look and feel of the course, by creating photo-montages from site photographs.

The Sketch Book adds detail to the routing plan, indicating golf strategy, use of natural features, placement of hazards as well as initial cut and fill ideas and potential construction issues.

The Masterplan provides a ‘complete picture’ of the site, often in the form of a manipulated aerial photograph the overview brings together the golf course with any other elements of the project such as hotels, real estate, roads and planting.
